Using
the established aesthetic from the Sol Confederacy Capital ship as
inspiration for the first in the series of smaller craft and support
vessels. I am doing this so there a strong sense of visual identity
throughout the Sol Confederacy vessels. Using red guide lines on a
separate locked layer to aid perspective and blocking in the initial
shape before refining.
Block
in finished, now more fleshing out as well as perceptive correction.
(Further seen below) I changed the original construction lines to blue
so they would stand out against the red perceptive grid.
Further refinement and details.

Sol Confederacy Emblem by Knottyprof
I commissioned Knottfyprof on DeviantArt to develop the emblems for my
factions since his work on designing symbols and emblems outshines my
own. This is his interpretation for the Sol Confederacy from my Design
Document.

Sol_Confederacy
Starting Silhouettes for Sol Confederacy Capital Ships, from this I'll establish a final aesthetic from which I can derive a final aesthetic for the faction and base smaller ships and strike craft from. I also refereed back to my design document for the general rules of aesthetic for this faction, which was a very blocky, geometric look with reference to modern naval vessels such as aircraft carriers
After choosing one the Silhouettes that works I started iterating on it and expanding the design while sticking to the overall shape. With the First iteration I applied the Sol Confederacies colour scheme from the original design document.
Continuing to develop iterations for this silhouette finding myself in favor of the third iterations however it appears too skinny and later combination between the 1st and 3rd may be the final result.
Moving onto to another Silhouette.
